Heyyy what's up everybody, just had a lil bit of time and realized I literally haven't gotten anything out in a minute. That's on me guys, I thought my time management got better on my mission but these emails have proved me wrong.
Couple highlights I should probably mention;
-idk if I mentioned I got to ride on a boat, like a real boat not a ferry, cause we went to a branch party on another Island but didn't wanna take the ferry 4 hours earlier. So we had a member come pick us up as well as another family, on his little speedboat. We saw some animals, gorgeous view. So much fun, Justin's a fire member. He also owns a golf course that we use a LOT on p-days, cause he lets us golf for free. The goat.
- we've got a super progressing friend named Ursula who's awesome! She went to a Relief Society activity on Orcas Island (we don't live there) and we had no clue it was going on but she still pulled up cause one of our members invited her! Such a sweet lady, she's got a lot of potential and really wants to learn more about the gospel.
- summer is getting here which means...sunset at 9pm, crazy amounts of tourists, and some gorgeous skies and views. I'm insanely blessed to be out here on these beautiful islands.
-we chopped a buncha wood for this lady who asked for my mom's number so she could send photos to her of how strong I am and now she's like, best friends with my mom. Whacky.
- cooked up some fire lamb shanks that we got. Trying to develop my chef abilities over here.
- saw the northern lights! They were so beautiful I can't believe we got so lucky as to see them. No clouds, on an Island with barely any light pollution, have I mentioned how much I love my mission? Such a cool experience to see how beautiful God has made this world for us.
To wrap up I really just wanna touch on how powerful God's plan is for all of us. He could have made a bland world for us to live in. Just do the steps and get back to him. But he decided to make the journey so beautiful, not only with things we can look at but also with so many spiritual experiences that we are able to feel and experience in our lives.
"Men are that they might have joy". Such an amazing truth. I love this life, all the blessings I've received for choosing his plan, all the grace I've received, and the help I get from our Savior Jesus Christ. He's a homie. I love the Book of Mormon and the truth contained in it, the spirit we can feel testifying of it's truth. It's a beautiful thing.
