Super sorry for not getting an email out for...quite a few weeks. My pdays have been packed recently! But a little rundown on what's up...
-I'm staying on the Islands but my boy, elder Alcorn, is leaving! He's going to be a zone leader in Arlington for his last 2 transfers. He's a dawg, I love the time I've spent with him. We've had a blast during our time out on the Islands.
- my new comp is Elder Magleby, he actually came in with me which is super sick! So I'll spend another here and train him in the Islands. So fun.
- our friend Ursula is lowkey ghosting us which I didn't know was possible un such small Islands...well find you eventually, Islands aren't too big. But keep her in your prayers if you could 👍👍👍
- I did some construction last week, built some stairs for a friend with an old senior couple fron the mission and now that friend, Rick, is on date! He'll be getting baptized in Utah tho, so the Millers(senior couple) can be there for it.
- We finally saw some Orcas! We went to Stuart Island, an island inaccessible by ferry, on a members private boat and midway through we saw some whale watching boats, paused for a sec, and then saw some Whales!!! So so beautiful, orcas are so dope. So stoked we got to see them.
- Bad news, I sucked at golf today, lowkey a bummer, but there's always next time.
Dude, I love the Book of Mormon! It's such an amazing book with beautiful stories and testimonies of our Savior Jesus Christ. I've grown to find a need to share this book with others as I've gone throughout my mission. It's a book that has so much awesome guidance in it and it gives answers to those who are looking, with real intent. I testify that as we share the Book of Mormon with others, and as we ourselves read it and study upon the words inside it, we will be able to find joy for ourselves and help others to find the joy so readily available in the Book of Mormon. Share it! It's worth it.
Love you guys!
Elder Blankenbiller
