I can't belive just how fast these weeks are flying by out here, idk what it is but Island time does not add up.
Huge upside to this week, we had Elder Bahr come out on an exchange with us. For those who don't know who Elder Bahr is, I'm sorry. Super great missionary, crazy awesome exchange.
-met a lady named Christine on the ferry over to FH, and asked her the baptismal interview questions. She also called Elder Magleby an idiot (it was hilarious).
- got called some random vulgar names by a couple 60 year old hooligans
-played beach volleyball for a branch activity. So much fun, I love it. Plus some random lady came up and asked to play with us so we got a missionary oppurtunity too. W.
- we biked out to Roche Harbor which is a 20 mile round trip. We visited with a progressing friend, Rick. He's a dawg.
- Got fed dinner at a fancy restaurant called the Madrona. And I had the absolute worst "poke bowl" I've ever had. There was no rice, barely any fish, served on a bed of kale with raw asparagus. Made me sick. I was so put out.
- my comp had a flat back tire so I took the L and rode home on his bike. But all in all it was a fire exchange. Lots of good work, many miracles seen, and W comps.
- biked a total of 25+ miles
God is in the details, every bit of this week has felt like a blessing in its own little way. Being able to notice more of God's plan as I go throughout my days have really made the mission not only fly by but feel more fulfilling as well. God is good, his plan is perfect, and life is a beautiful gift that we can use to one day return to our Father above.
