Okay I'm back, I know its been a minute but I had to get something out to y'all. It's been a couple months since I put out my last one. I do have a new goal, hence the title. I'm gunna put out an email a week till I finish things up here in Washington. Idk how I'm so rough getting them out but it just always slips my mind.
A couple things:
So we've been doing SO much finding, and tbh haven't been seeing much success. But the great part about it is that when someone is interested in at least hearing us out instead of shutting the door immediately, we take the oppurtunity to share anything we can. To actually share the light the gospel brings. We've mainly found English speakers and have to send off referrals for the English missionaries but it's chill.
Our friend Jesús that we made a few weeks ago is playing with our emotions. He'll go Ghost for a couple days and then we'll have the most fire, spiritual lesson ever. We put him on date a couple weeks ago, but had to take him off because he hasn't come to church. But if y'all could pray for him to come, that'd be rad.
Transfers are coming up on Tuesday, so we will see if I stay or if they kick me outta Snohomish.
We got fed some BOMB pan de muerto con ice cream, fresa, and Nutella. She made one and I thought she was gunna cut it up and split it between the 4 of us st the table cause they were massive...she did cut them in half, but she gave us each our own. I was fighting for my life trying to shove it all good. Absolutely divine tho. So fire.
Alright I don't got much more time so I'll wrap it up with a scripture I read this morning.
Matthew 7:25
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
The story of the wise man, I love. Cause it's so simple but it sets the tome for how we should live our lives. Built over Christ(the rock), and trusting that he will guide us through the storm.
Life's tough sometimes! For me it's having people slam the door in my face cause I'm knocking at 6:00pm when it's already pitch black. I could give up, but I don't cause I know that Christ wouldn't. Just like it says on the lil doorway cross of every Latino house...I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. Philippians, 4:13. Christ's always there to help push you, help you know you're far from alone. That you're loved. And I'm here to remind you too! I love you guys, and hope you have a good rest of your week.
Bye.
