Heyyyyy, just had to preface this email by apologizing for not getting out an email for the last three weeks, this one was gunna go out last week, but I guess I just never sent it...so let's get into a little rundown of the last little bit.

I moved up to Mount Vernon, I think I mentioned that in my last email, but I love it up here! It made me realize how much I missed mountains and nature and fields. Seattle had me a little burnt out from the city life. But farms are beautiful. Even more beautiful with all the Hispanics we've been seeing! It's hard to make friends, have people want to meet back up with us but the bulk of Latinos is amazing.

Over the last few weeks we've put a few people on date which is amazing! Only downside is that one of them just moved out of my area literally yesterday so that was a bummer but what can you do. Two of the others, they agreed to be baptized but then we haven't been able to get back in contact with them which isn't fun I'll be honest. I'll I'm asking is to bring yourself closer to Jesus Christ…you'd think it'd be recieved a bit better. But hey I'm just here to share, my purpose is to invite others to Christ not force them to him.
My comp is rad, Elder Campbell, from NC. We get along super well, plenty of the same interests which is a plus, and we bounce off each other well in lessons.

We proved that cause we got bashed twice in the same day, within 2 hours. The first guy was visibly excited to see us, he drove by, shouted "MORMONS!" slammed on the brakes and proceeded to ask us how many Gods we believed in, 6? ...Bro did not do his research. But he then gave us a basketball as a parting gift and plugged his business. So, of course, we invited him to basketball night. He pulled up, and we dropped 20 on him. Lightwork. No, but he actually ended up being an awesome guy, just a little confused on what we believe.
But Brian, the other basher, he was a piece of work. He asked us if we believed in this one specific verse in the Book of Mormon, and us, being representatives of the church, of course said yes. He then bashed us for an hour in a public library about nothing. I'm so thankful my testimony is as strong as it is. Thankfully after that hour wasted, an angel of a library employee saved us from any more. God's real.

The weather has been crazy bipolar, it snowed at some point a few weeks ago, was in the 10 degree range, and now it's in the 40s/50s and raining almost everyday. It hasn't been too bad tho so many people out here were telling me that i was gunna be crazy depressed but hasn't happened yet.

It's probably because of how much I've come to love this work I'm in, over the last year (almost) I've grown so much and honestly can say I had no idea how much I could in the course of a year. But the Lord has shown me otherwise. One of my old AP's mentioned that he made a goal to ask God every night what he could do to be better, what he could give up. I've made that one of my new goals...as of last night. But! I know that I'll be able to chage even more, even faster when I humble myself before God, showing him that I'm willing. I know he will help me, that he'll help any of us as long as we truly ask.
